I’ve known Jon for over 30 years. He’s a good friend and was a founding employee of 7th Level, where he directed our technology and QA efforts. Later, at my request, Jon agreed to be a Producer, reporting directly to me. We worked closely together on award-winning titles like “Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail”, which won the MILIA d' Or [Golden Milia] for "Best Product-Games Category" at Cannes Film Festival. In addition to his technical skills Jon’s extremely well-versed in authoring, artwork, music and game design. Jon has a tremendous amount of business and technology experience, which I still call on from time-to-time.

When Jon called me with an invitation to accept a Lifetime Achievement Award from his organization, I humbly accepted. Jon did a stellar job pulling together the Temecula International Film & Music Festival. He asked me to perform, which I don’t typically do at these events, however he’d put together a stellar all-star band with members from Pink Floyd, Elton John, Keb Mo’, John Mellencamp and Toto, so how could I refuse! He was a gracious host as well, offering up his home for rehearsals and showing us around wine country.

We were all so impressed by Jon’s phenomenal efforts to finish The Holy Grail on time that we wanted to invite him to Buckingham Palace. Unfortunately, he’s a Yank so it’s not possible to knight him. Nevertheless, be aware that word of Jon’s amazing activities has spread and on behalf of all the other Pythons, the Queen and I would like to thank and congratulate him, and hope that when he gets to sleep again he has very pleasant and erotic dreams.

I’ve worked with Jon 15+ years now, reporting to him at Sony Music, Sony Pictures Digital, Sony Corp and most recently Live Nation Entertainment. There’s a reason for this; Jon is one of the best, most innovative leaders I ‘ve had the privilege of working with. His ability to align talent on projects to make both the company and the resource successful is unparalleled. He goes out of his way to understand issues and contribute solid solutions. Jon's a team player and worked hard to be an effective service provider to Live Nation’s various businesses, from NA Concerts and House of Blues Entertainment, to Food & Beverage Services and Box Offices. He consistently introduced new ideas increasing the productivity of the department and molded our group into a well-oiled machine. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jon for over 2 years on several cloud migration initiatives and I’m always impressed with his ability to drive results under tight project timelines using a lean development team. Jon built an enterprise framework on Azure PaaS and successfully migrated 90+ sites generating millions in combined annual revenue. Jon’s an excellent business partner and amazing to work with!

For over 3.5 years I worked closely with Jon on many projects and reviews at Live Nation. The one that stands out the most was a Disaster Recovery Review where he walked through all the different applications and services that he was responsible for. I was very impressed on the amount of knowledge he possessed on how the company can recover and the steps taken to protect company assets. Other reviews pertained to Data Privacy and Protection where Jon was great in explaining what the company was doing to protect and secure Personable Identifiable Information (PII), which also includes credit card data (PCI). We also reviewed the types of POS devices Jon’s team managed in our venues in North America and how these were secured and protected. I highly recommend Jon as a team mate in any work environment!

Thank you for all your tireless work on Complete Waste of Time, The Holy Grail and The Meaning of Life, they’ve afforded me hours of fun and effectively prevented me from doing any sensible work these last few years.

I’ve known Jon since 2003, where we worked closely together at Sony. He’s a fantastic manager and great with people. During my time working for him at Live Nation he always provided me with aggressive yet realistic deadlines, and was very clear and concise with his feedback. I worked alongside Jon for 8 years at Live Nation during brutal on-sales of major artists, to implementing new POS and digital signage solutions in our O&O venues across NA. I've had the pleasure of working with Jon at Live Nation since 2007. We’ve worked closely over the years on products like Live Nation's Event Booking System, and the company's PTO application, and wherever integration with Financial Systems (Oracle, SAP, Business Objects) has been needed with Jon’s systems. Jon and I worked together at Sony building Sony Connect. During that time, I found Jon to be an excellent manager of people and very detail oriented in the work he performed. Jon is a visionary, big picture guy. He oversaw numerous systems and teams at Live Nation including our group. I was part of the Musictoday IT team operating a large datacenter hosting artist e-commerce stores, fan sites and selling concert and festival tickets. Jon was super supportive when we found opportunities to help other divisions in the company, like doing walkthroughs at venues and supporting network infrastructure at festivals. I've known Jon since 1994 and had the pleasure of working closely with him on several titles at 7th Level. As a Producer and Designer on titles such as Monty Python's Holy Grail his attention to detail was second to none and his communication and team building skills allowed us to quickly create excellent designs in strategy and RPGs. As an SVP of Global Business Systems and IT at Live Nation Entertainment he led us managing hundreds of business applications, as well as the building-out of a custom cloud platform, eventually housing 90+ web sites, including the House of Blues. I’ve known Jon since the 80’s!
